First objective markets ask who takes a specific map target first: a tower, Roshan or Baron. Timing decides how much you can know before you bet.
The core market here. First tower rewards early-pressure lineups, while first Roshan depends on vision, the Aegis window and a clear power spike rather than on the kill score.
First tower, first Roshan and first Baron are sold under the same heading and behave nothing alike.
Because of that gap the two ends of this market reward completely different reading. The tower bet is about how a team opens. The Roshan and Baron bets are about who controls the map once laning has resolved.
An early objective leaves almost nothing to observe after the game starts, so it functions as a pre-match bet. A mid-game objective can be watched: by the time it is contested you have seen the draft, the lane outcomes and the vision setup. If you intend to bet these at all, the later objectives in-play are where the extra information sits.
These objectives are not neutral events. Towers, Roshan and Baron each hand the team that takes them a concrete advantage in gold, map control or a temporary buff, and teams trade around them constantly. A side routinely concedes the first tower in exchange for a lane advantage elsewhere, so losing it is often a choice rather than a failure. Betting this market without accounting for that habit misreads the plan.
Spawn timers, rewards and even which neutral objectives exist have been reworked repeatedly in both titles, including changes to when the major mid-game objective becomes available. A timing learned two seasons ago is a liability. Check the notes for the patch being played before you bet on when something happens.
Games end early. A surrender, a remake or a fast base race can finish a game before the objective falls, and operators grade that differently: some void, some settle a neither option, some hold the bet to the map. Confirm which applies, and confirm whether the market is per game or per series, since a series-level first objective settles on game one in some rulebooks and across the whole series in others.
The favorite label is a weak guide on this market, and knowing one team's habits is worth more than knowing which roster is stronger. Size the stake accordingly and set the limit before the match rather than during it.

Not in the tower, Roshan or Baron form, because neither game has lane structures or neutral bosses. Operators list first blood or the first bomb and spike plant as the equivalent early-map bets.
Grading varies. Some operators void the bet, some settle a neither option where one is offered, and some hold it to the map result. Because early surrenders and remakes do happen, check the rule before staking.
