BetGods is a content and comparison site. We do not require accounts. Tools like Pick'em, the Bet Tracker and odds alerts store data only in your browser's local storage, it never leaves your device. On our own server we keep first-party analytics logs: page views (page path, country derived from your IP by our CDN, referring page, browser user-agent) and standard web server logs. We do not store your full IP address in analytics, and we use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
When you click a bookmaker link, you are redirected through our /go endpoint, which records the click: operator, your country (from the CDN geo header), page placement, a random click ID (subid) that is also passed to the operator so we can be paid a commission, the referring page and your browser user-agent. This does not include your name or contact details. The operator's own privacy policy applies once you land on their site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and attributing traffic we refer.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address together with the signup source page, your country (from the CDN geo header) and a timestamp. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. We use it only to send the newsletter, never sold or shared. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us via the About page; we will delete your address from our records.
We use first-party, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, referrers, country-level location). We set no advertising cookies, run no remarketing pixels, and do not build advertising profiles or sell personal data.
Analytics and click logs are kept for up to 24 months for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, LGPD and similar), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, in practice that is your subscriber email and, where identifiable, click records. Contact us via the details on the About page and we will respond within 30 days.
This site is intended for adults aged 18 or older (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, if higher). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
